A pregnant woman, Nafisa Saleh has connived with two others to mastermind her own abduction in Damaturu the state capital of Yobe state.
Confirming the incidence, the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Dungus Abdulkarim, in a statement, said two suspects; Umar Mai Gudusu and Goni Modo of Danginge village of Gujba local government area of the state, have been arrested by the police.

Daily Telescope recalled that Nafisa Sale was reported to have been missing on 1st October 2021 on her way to the Damaturu Specialist Hospital for antenatal check-up.
ASP Abdulkarim added that, a suspect was apprehended after a phone call was made to her husband demanding for ransom.
However, police investigation later revealed that the said Nafisa the presupposed victims turned out to be the mastermind of her alleged abduction for ransom from her husband and family members.

The police spokesman added that on Tuesday, police detectives in Damaturu raided the hideouts of the organizers of the purported kidnapping and found Nafisa and the two suspected kidnappers.
While the two alleged kidnappers are being interrogated, Nafisa, the purported victim of kidnappers was rushed to the hospital for medical attention, as she complains about some health challenges.
Meanwhile, two persons have been arrested by the police over alleged abduction of a 3-year-old boy in Potiskum local government area of the state.

He explained that investigation into the case is still ongoing and that whoever is found guilty would be charged to court accordingly.
