The Minister of State for Industry Trade and Investment, Ambassador Maryam Yalwaji Katagun has slumped while attending a public function in Bauchi state, Daily Telescope can report.
Daily Telescope gathered that the minster was immediately rushed to the Trauma Center of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBU-TH) for medical attention.

Yalwaji, who was in Bauchi for the launching of an empowerment program, slumped shortly after she settled on the podium to deliver her speech at the occasion.

The minister was said to have slumped down flat before her aides and some security personnel evacuated and rushed her to the ATBU Teaching hospital for mediation attention.

However, a source closed to Bauchi state government confided in Daily Telescope that the minster has been stabilized and moved to amenity ward of the ATBU teaching hospital.
Neither Bauchi state government nor office of the Minister gives details of what led to the minister’s sudden collapsed.
