President Muhahadu Buhari has called on the people of Adawa state to vote for Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani as governor of the state to make history in the Nigerian politics.
Presenting Binani to the electorates at the launching of her gubernatorial campaign in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, president Buhari said Adamawa is about to set a good example of democracy in the history of Nigeria politics.

“Vote for Binana as your governor. The people of Adamawa, you are about to do something that has never happened in the history our democracy. No state has ever vote woman as governor in the country. You are about to make a difference in our democracy.
President Buhari also presented the Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the people of Adamawa during the event.

He charged the electorates to vote for Tinubu, saying he will work for this country diligently.
Earlier, the APC’s Presidential Candidate, urged the people of Adamawa to vote for APC at levels.
He said: “The people of Adamawa, we are proving now in Yola, is not the men only; we have capable women that can do better for this country if elected into political offices. I am therefore, urging you to vote for APC at all levels.”

Also, speaking at the occasion, the APC Governorship Candidate in Adamawa, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani assured the electorates of more goodies if she was elected governor of the state.
“I will provide employment opportunities to the teeming unemployed youths, security and civil servants will also get their monthly salaries as at when due.”
