The Founder and Chairman Governing Council of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has condoled with the Kano State Deputy Governor, Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo over the passing away of his elder brother, Sani Abdullahi Gwarzo.
The deceased, a retired Zonal Education Director, died at the age of 73 in the early hours of Wednesday after a protracted illness.

In a condolence message issued to newsmen on Thursday, Prof. Gwarzo expressed deep shock over the passing away of the deceased.
He described the death of Alhaji Sani Abdulsalam as a great loss not only to his immediate family, but to his relatives, friends and associates.

Prof. Gwarzo who commiserated with the bereaved family, prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort the entire family of the deceased during this grieving moment.
“So, on behalf of myself and the entire Management staff of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano, I wish to extend our condolences to the family, friends and associates of the deceased, ” Prof. said in the condolence message.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and admit him in the highest level of Janna.
The deceased, who left behind one wife, eight children and eight grandchildren, was buried in accordance with the Islamic rites at Kofar Yamma quarters in Gwarzo.
