Malumfashi Development Association (MADA) in Katsina State, has extends its deepest condolences to traditional title holder of Ma’ajin Galadiman Katsina, Alhaji Maiwada Dammalam, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Rahane and three members of their family who died in a fire incident.
The condolence message was contained in a statement personally signed by the Chairman of the association, Malam Salisu Bawa and issued to newsmen on Saturday.
He described the death of Hajiya Rahane as a great loss not only to her immediate family, but to the entire community in the area.
The Chairman of the association also described the deceased as a great and highly disciplined mother who trained her children on the path of Allah.
“I was shocked to learn of the passing of our mother, Hajiya Rahane. May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and admit her in Jannatul Firdaus.
“On behalf of officials and entire members of MADA, I wish to extend our condolences to you and your family over this great loss.
While praying for her Allah’s forgiveness and mercy, the chairman also prayed to God to give Maiwada Danmalam and entire members of their family the fortitude to bear the huge losses.
The Chairman also prayed for the quick recovery of other persons who sustained various degrees of injuries during the fire incident and are currently receiving medical treatment at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH), Kano.
The deceased have since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites in Malumfashi, Katsina State.
