The man,who set fire on the mosque in Laraba Abasawa of Gezawa Local government area of Kano state has been reported to have surrendered to police.
Daily Telescope gathered that the man took himself to a Police Outpost in the community after committing the heinous act that saw over 30 worshippers burnt.

Daily Telescope reports that the man set the mosque on fire while over 40 worshippers were observing early morning SubhanAllah prayer on wednesday.

Consequently, the man also locked the the mosque after setting it on fire with a view to preventing the screening worshippers from escaping.
Our reporter also gathered many of the man’s relatives were among the victims of the unfortunate incident.
