Katsina State Police Command says it will embark on shooting exercise on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Gidan Mutum Daya Shooting Range, Kusada Local Government Area of the state.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah.

The statement, said the exercise is in line with training and retraining program of the police personnel of the Command.

The command, therefore, enjoined members of the public not to panic as they witness the movement of Police personnel, vehicles, and equipment along the Katsina – Kano road.
It also assured residents of Gidan Mutum Daya village of their safety as the exercise will be conducted professionally and in accordance with safety procedures.

The statement explained that on the day of the exercise, a red flag will be mounted in all the prohibited areas around the shooting range warning inhabitants not to cross or pass through the shooting area.
The Commissioner of Police Katsina state Command, CP Sanusi Buba summoned a meeting with community leaders of the area to sensitize them of their responsibility during the exercise.
