“We also return him as the rightful Emir of Kano, to continue the good job he was doing for the good of Kano People.”
On the legislative process that led to Sanusi’s reinstatement, the governor said, “Once a Bill is signed into law, it has become law and nobody can change that.”
“Your reappointment was guided by the collective belief and judgement of your competency, dedication and zeal for the development of Kano State and its environs.
“As you ascend the throne of the Kano Emirate of Kano State, you should be guided in your conduct by the teachings of Islam which you are known for,” he added.
The governor urged Sanusi to reunite the family of Ibrahim Dabo and also do more to ensure that Islamic sects are brought together as one worshipers of Allah.

The letter was presented to Sanusi at the Africa House, Government House, Kano in the presence of top government officials and house of assembly members.
Sanusi is expected to perform the Jumaat prayer at the Government House mosque before proceeding to the Palace later in the day.
This development came despite an order granted by a federal high court sitting in Kano, stopping Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano from reinstating the 14th Emir of Kano.
The order also kicked against the abolishment of four emirates: Bichi, Gaya, Karaye, and Rano, in a bill earlier passed by the state house of assembly on Thursday.
The order also directed all parties involved to maintain status quo ante pending the determination of the suit filed by Aminu Babba-Dan’Agundi, Sarkin Dawaki Babba, on Thursday.
