Kano state government has donated the sum of N20m to the victims of the recent fire outbreak at Katsina Central Market.

Preswnting a N20m cheque to Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina, Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, commiserated with government and the victims over the incidence.

Governor Ganduje prayed for Allah to avert future occurence of the disaster.

Ganduje said the donation of the money was to alleviate the difficulties faced by affected traders as a result of the Inferno.
Responding, governor Masari expressed gratitude to the governor over the gesture and assured of judicious utilisation of the donation.
