According to him, the vehicle conveying the commodity was intercepted at a checkpoint near Kura town in Kura local government area on its way to Kano.
Ishaq stressed that the arrest was made following a tip-off by good samaritans, where Hisbah personnel laid siege for two days before the arrival of the vehicle.
The deputy commander general, however, noted that those conveying the alcohol claimed to be conveying goods for a particular pressure group, saying that after careful investigation the claim turned out to be false, as the plate number on the trailer was fake.
