Bayero to perfrom Sallah dubar

The emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero will perform full tradittional sallah durbar and other festivities for this year’s Eid fitr.

This is contained in a sallah festivities itinarary issuee by Dan Rimin Kano, Alhaji Sarki Waziri.

According to itinerary, emir Bayero will personally lead other horse riders in all the four Eid – fitr durbars; Hawan Idi, Hawan Nasarawa, Hawan Daushe and Hawan Fanisau

The sallah durbar will be the first to be conducted by emir Bayero since his appointment as emir of Kano by the state government last year.

The monarch was unable to observe the traditional festivities in 2020 as a result of COVID-19 pandemic total lockdown imposed on the state by the Federal Government.

According to the itinerary, after observing Eid- fitr prayer at Kofar Mata Eid ground, the emir will follow his normal route through Kofar Wambai to Gidan Shettima and deliver his Sallah message to the people at Kofar Kwaru before he entered his palace.

A day after sallah, the monarch will lead his entourage  to Babban Daki and return to his palace through Kofar Kudu in the evening to mark the tradition of Hawan Daushe.

The emir will be at the state government house, two days after Eid to be hosted by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other members of the state Executive Council where the former and the later exchange speeches.

The emir will then lead the procession back to the palace  through state road, Obasanjo road and Ibrahim Taiwo road, Waje Juma’at Mosque, Fagge and Plaza to Kofar Mata and the Emir enter his palace through Kofar Fatalwa.

After a day break, the statement also revealed that the monarch will either paid a visit to Dorayi or Fanisau mini palaces to mark the end of the 2021 Eid -fitr sallah durbar.

The itinerary further disclosed that Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero then will preside over the daily palace sittings so as to receive sallah homage from district, village and ward heads as well as other well wishers to the monarch .
