A group under the aegis of Arewa Indigenous Obedients Forum on Friday in Kano celebrated the 63rd birthday of the Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, with a call on Nigerians to support his presidential ambition in 2027.
As part of the celebration, members of the Forum including youths and women, cut a birthday cake for Mr. Obi and inaugurated the newly formed Forum at a ceremony held at the NUJ Press centre, Kano.

The Coordinator General of AIOF, Engr. Alkasim Auwal who led the ceremony, said the group, would commence a sensitization campaign aimed at promoting Peter Obi’s Presidential ambition in 2027.

He said, “The Arewa Indigenous Obedients Forum was officially inaugurated today with clear vision to support and help secure the Presidential bid of Peter Obi in the upcoming 2027 general election.
“The Forum, comprising passionate individuals committed to the progress and unity of Nigeria, aims to rally support for Peter Obi’s candidacy and contribute to his successful campaign towards the presidency,” he said.

According to him, the Forum is committed to mobilising support from across the northern region and beyond to ensure that Peter Obi’s aspirations to lead the nation are realised.
He, therefore, called on Nigerians to support the Peter Obi to enable him realise his ambition of becoming the next president of the country in 2027.
