The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kano state has fixed Wednesday 20th, September 2023 for judgement in the petition filed by Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress, APC, challenging the victory of Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP.
The delivery of the judgement will take place at Kano state High court of justice Miller road Bompai Kano, a source close to the panel of judges, revealed.

It could be recalled that few weeks ago, the parties involved in the trial closed their cases and submitted their written addresses to the tribunal.
