Katsina state Pilgrims Welfare Board in collaboration with the state Primary Healthcare Development Agency is to commence COVID-19 vaccination on the 2021 intending pilgrims on April 8, 2021.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Alhaji Badaru Bello Karofi in Katsina, indicated that the exercise was aimed at protecting the intending pilgrims against the COVID-19.

The statement, the vaccination exercise was scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in all the seven zonal offices of the pilgrims welfare Board.
Daily Telescope recalls that, the Saudi Arabian Authority had made the COVID-19 vaccination one of the prerequisite for this year’s pilgrimage.
