A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kano, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso has hailed President Bola Tinubu for his commitment towards the development of Nigeria.
In a statement on Thursday, a copy of which was made available to The Punch, Iliyasu Kwankwaso commended President Tinubu’s visionary leadership which he said has been proved in the last two years.

“President Tinubu is the true Messiah Nigeria has been waiting for, with several projects, human capital development and critical efforts on security.
Musa Iliyasu who is the Director Finance, Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, said, “President Tinubu’s two years has been impressive with his efforts that even unsettled his opponents while his party APC is busy receiving decampees from other parties.
He said, “There is no gainsaying that President Tinubu has done well in all aspects that Nigeria needs his attention.He assembled men of integrity and courage who have in the last two years helped in turning around Nigeria”.
“Just recently the President Bola Tinubu ordered the security agencies to end insecurity in the country latest by December this year 2025, this clearly shows that the President is highly concerned about the lives of Nigerians.
“Ministers of Defence Badaru and Matawle were quoted to have said that the nation’s armed forces are now better equipped and the personnel better motivated, maintaining that recent military gains signalled Nigeria was turning the tide against insecurity.

“For the first time in years, Nigerians can travel on Birnin Gwari- Kaduna road even at midnight. That’s progress. Zaria to Funtua to Gusau is now peaceful, and Abuja-Kaduna road has been largely secured,” he said.
He noted that with the approval given for the construction of the Kano northern bypass, it will ease the transportation challenges faced from Kano to the northeastern part of Nigeria.
According to him, President Tinubu is also committed to completing the Kano- Kaduna-Abuja expressway as well as the most coveted Ajaokuta -Kaduna-Kano AKK Gas pipeline project which is slated for completion in 2025.
“This is a clear testimony further that Mr President meant well for Kano and the North as well as the entire country.
“The establishment of the Northwest Development Commission will go a long way in bringing development to the region.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his visionary leadership and also allocating N150 billion in the 2025 Appropriation bill for the construction of a railway line in Kano City.
“President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated a clear focus on infrastructure development, evident in the 2025 budget,” he said.
