The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar on Thursday in Kano said if voted President, he would ensure the return of peace and agricultural prosperity of the state.
Atiku made the promise while addressing thousands of party supporters during his Presidential campaign rally held at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano metropolis.

Atiku, who recalled that he schooled and started work in Kano over the past 52 years, also pledged to create job opportunities for the teeming number of unemployed youths in the state so as to address redundancy and restiveness among them.
“APC has ruled the country for about eight years now. Do you want the return of peace, commerce and agricultural prosperity in the state?, vote for the PDP from bottom to top.

“Do you also want employment for our youths, then vote the PDP from top to bottom,” Atiku told the party supporters.
Also speaking, the National chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu said Nigerians should hold the All Progressives Congress for making them bankrupt and poor.
“APC is Killing all our people in the villages and even in the towns because of their bad policies of changing currency. There is no fuel for you, no food, no money. We were the richest economy in Africa,” he said.

He, therefore, urged Kano people to vote APC out as it has nothing to offer to Nigerians.
Among the top Party members that attended the rally include former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, former Governor of Bauchi and former PDP chairman, Alhaji Adamu Muazu, and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’abba among others.
