The Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District, Senator Kawu Sumaila, on Monday tied the knot with Flying Officer Hindatu Ada’u Isah of the Nigerian Air Force.
The private wedding ceremony was held at Rano town headquarters of Rano LGA of Kano State at the residence of the bride’s father, Alhaji Ada’u Isah, the Madakin Rano and a former Federal Lawmakers who represented Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure Federal Constituency.

The event was attended by a select group of dignitaries, including the Chairman of A.A. Rano Group, Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, and a former Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, among others.

The ceremony was deliberately kept low-profile, reflecting the Senator’s preference for a modest celebration.

The picture of the bride and groom which has since gone viral, contrinued to attract comments from members of the public.
Meanwhile, friends and other well wishers have continued to congratulate Senator Sumaila over marriage.
