He noted that the resignation of the Commissioner of Transportation should serve as a wake-up call to every political appointee and civil servant in the state.
“Let it be clear: we will not tolerate any conduct—official or private—that undermines the values we stand for. Every public official must be vigilant and responsible in their dealings. You are not only representing your office but the integrity of the entire administration,” the Governor stated.
He further stressed that the fight against drugs and other harmful societal behaviours remains one of the central pillars of his administration, adding that anyone found to be aiding or abetting such acts—directly or indirectly—will face the full weight of the law.
“We came into office with a clear mandate to restore sanity, integrity, and progress in Kano. That mission will not be compromised. I urge all appointees to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values of this administration,” he added.
