A statement on Sunday by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, said Amina HOD has now aligned with the Kano First ideology to ensure speedy development of Kano State and promote peaceful co-existence.
“The commissioner has now aligned with the “Kano First” ideology to ensure the speedy development of our state and promote peaceful coexistence.
“This development has set the pace for another defining and historic moment in the political governance of the state. It has also reawakened the political consciousness of the people, who are now choosing between the collective destiny of Kano and the interests of a few individuals,” the statement said.

It further said, “This movement is not only real but also practical, as the people of Kano have chosen to take their political destiny into their own hands, serving as a vehicle for positive change that will reposition Kano among the comity of states and push it toward its rightful place politically, economically, and socially.”
The statement noted that commissioners in charge of the most strategic and critical ministries have registered their total loyalty to Governor Yusuf and have expressed their willingness and commitment to remain firmly with him.
“Critics should be reminded that power is not lost when key institutions remain steadily committed to development transformation. Equally, control is not lost when the engine rooms of the government are firmly alive, and responsive to governance, not allowing the room for any political shenanigans.
The political drama displayed by some mischievous elements to provoke commentary cannot change the reality on the ground, stressing that the Kano State Government will continue to remain focused, working within established governance structures and the rule of law, while strengthening synergy among the three arms of democratic governance.
