Kano APC affirms suspension of Buhari’s ex-media aide

The All Progressive Congress in Kano Municipal Local government, has affirmed the suspension of an ex-media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Sha’aban Sharada, who was suspended for one year over alleged anti party activities in the state.

Recall that the Sharada Ward in Kano Municipal local Government area had on Wednesday suspended the ex-media Assistant (Broadcast media) to the President.

A letter to that effect signed and issued to newsmen by the Chairman of the Party in Municipal Local government and his Secretary, Alhaji Sani Abubakar Maifata and Kamilu Saidu Bala respectively, said Sharada remains suspended as earlier done by the ward.

“We hereby affirm the suspension of Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada as done by his ward level for 12 months for his open attacks and castigation of Governor Ganduje and other party stalwarts”.

They said, “Sequel to the petition received from APC supporters from Sharada ward, we formed a seven-man disciplinary Committee and give them seven days to submit their report on the subject matter and possible decision to be taken”.

“After going through their reports and evidence attached to the suspension letter by the ward executive, the committee confirmed that Ibrahim Sharada has been found guilty of all the charges against him for assassination of the characters of Governor Ganduje and respective Party Executives at Ward, Local and State levels”.

They said these assertions of Ibrahim Sharada may instigate chaos and turmoil in the state which may destruct the positive missions of Governor Ganduje”.

He added,”They may also derogate the dignity of the party executives to their subjects in addition to party loss of supporters at the grassroots level”.

“We are hereby affirming the suspension of Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada for the period of 12 months upon which he will not interfere in all the affairs of the party activities at all levels”.
