The Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Tuesday presented a new list of commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.
The list comprises six names who are members of the party in the State.

Recall that the Governor had recently directed the office of the Secretary to the State government to issue an evaluation notice to all the 18 commissioners under his cabinet.
According to Sanusi Dawakin Tofa, the Governor’s Spokesperson, said the directive was based on the policy of Gov. Yusuf’s administration made known at the swearing-in of the Commissioners to evaluate their performance every six months to ensure quality service delivery.
Those who made the fresh list are:
Engr. Kabir Jibrin, Alhaji Shehu Kura Muhammad Na’Allah, Isyaku Ibrahim Kunya, Dr. Salisu Muhammad Tudun Kaya, Amina Inuwa Fagge and Garba Ibrahim Tsanyawa.
