The Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in Kano state, Engineer Bashir Ishaq Bashir, says he will make his position known on speculations of his defection to All Progressives Congress , APC.
Engineer Bashir in an exclusive chat with Daily Telescope said “I will make my position public on Wednesday. I will brief newsmen on Wednesday and make my position known. So, people should exercise patience till Wednesday.”

Daily Telescope recalled that there was a wide speculation that Eng. Bashir who is contesting for governor in Kano has defected to APC.
The rumors of his defection went viral on social media and online newspapers after his recent meeting with APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Daily Telescope observed that runouts of Eng. Bashir defection spread after a picture of APC Presidential Candidate, Tinubu, Bashir and his political associates was exposed on social media.
