A Professor of Economics with Bayero University, Kano (BUK), Dalhatu Mohammed Galadanci is dead.

Prof. Dalhatu Galadanci died at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) on Friday after a brief illness, a family source told Daily Telescope.

The deceased was a former Head of Economics Department at BUK, a one-time Rector of the Kano State Polytechnic, during the administration of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Prof. Galadanci, a Russian trained economist would be buried tomorrow (Saturday).

According to the family source the funeral prayer was scheduled to hold at Galadanci quarters by 9.00 am.
