Magajin Garin Sokoto, Alhaji Hassan Ahmad Danbaba is dead.
He died today in Kaduna after a briefed illness, a source closed to the family, Alhaji Buhari Sarkin Tudun Jabo, confirmed.

He said: “We are in serious shock, therefore, I cannot give details of the deceased as at now.
“We are preparing the remains of the deceased to be taken to Sokoto for burial. He would be buried in his home state, Sokoto, today.

“It is a great loss not only to the immediate members of his family, Sokoto state, but for the entire nation.”
Sympathisers have began trooping to the Sultanate Palace for the burial of the late Magajin Gari.

Daily Telescope gathered that the funeral prayer is expected to hold at Masallacin Bello, Sultanate Palace.
The remains of the late Magajin Gari is expected to be buried at Hubbare where members of the Royal families are buried.
