The Azman Air is to resume flight operations on Sunday six weeks after lifting of suspension by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Confirming the development to Daily Telescope on phone, the General Manager of the airline, Alhaji Lawal Sulaiman, said the company had planned to resume with two flights for now.
Sulaiman explained that the first flight is for Kano to Lagos and Lagos back to Kano, then Kano to Abuja and Abuja back to Kano.
He added that the second flight will be from Lagos to Abuja to Maiduguri and from Maiduguri back to Abuja and then to Lagos.
The general manager said the resume flight operation will remain as such for sometimes before the other stations will take off.
“We have made arrangement that online booking will also resume on Sunday so that our teeming customers can book online. Plans are also on the pipeline to unveil some new incentives including ticket fare reduction,” he said.
Sulaiman appreciated the level of patience exhibited by company’s customers, assuring them of better services from the company.
“I want use this opportunity to assure our teeming customers that this time around, they will experience changes in our operations. We will do our best to give them better services,” he assured.
It would be recalled that Azman Air was suspended by the NCAA on March 15 following serial safety infractions.
However, the NCAA lifted the suspension six weeks after, having satisfied with the safety measures taken by the airline to prevent future occureances of such safety infractions.
