The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed September 4 for the conduct of 2021 Nationwide Local Government Areas (LGA) congresses.
According to the congresses schedule of activities signed by the party’s National Secretary, Senator James Akpanudeodehe, the 3-man delegates to the party’s national convention will also be elected on 4th September, 2021.

Female and physically challenged aspiring for any position will enjoy 50 per cent discount of the prescribed fees for each position.
Politicians contesting for local government chairman will pay a sum of N25,000.00, while those eying for local government vice chairman, secretary and treasurer will pay N15,000.00 each and those vying for other offices will pay N10,000.00 only.
According to the schedule, purchase of forms for ward, local government/area councils and state congresses is to be done between 18th and 28th of August 2021.

The screening of aspirants to local government area party positions will hold between August 31 and September 2, 2021.
All appeals arising from the conduct of the local government area congresses, will be entertained between 6th and 11th of September 2021.
Daily Telescope recalls that the ruling party had in July this year conducted its ward congresses nationwide during which party’s ward executives and local government and state delegates were elected.
The party is expected to conducted state and zonal congresses before its national convention holds.
