No fewer than three million Zamfara State citizens devoid of political party affiliations endorsed President Bola Tinubu for second term during the recent visit of Minister of State Defence, Bello Matawalle to Gusau.
A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kano, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso made the disclosure in a statement on Friday.

“Over three million citizens of Zamfara State irrespective of political party affiliations endorsed President Tinubu for a second term on Wednesday when the minister visited Gusau.
“The Minister was surprised to see the number of people who came out to welcome him and at the same time endorsing Mr. President for second term,” Kwankwaso said.
He noted that the visit was part of the Minister’s thank you visits that he usually undertakes to his people to show appreciation for their support to the Government of President Tinubu.
In the same vein, the Minister used the visit to hold a political program to showcase the activities of President Tinubu as well as his efforts in tackling the
security challenges bedeviling the state.

He said, “Since when he was in office as Governor and after his leaving office up to his appointment as Minister, Bello Matawalle has never abandoned his People; he is always with them in pain and happiness”.
According to Kwankwaso, “what Matawalle is doing has endeared the people of Zamfara State to the Government of President Tinubu with the vast majority of them ready to re-elect him come 2027”.
“You can see that today over three million people came out to welcome this gentleman and I can tell you that most of them nobody invited them but they came on their own.
While calling on political appointees to emulate Matawalle’s political sagacity, Kwankwaso advised political appointees from the Northern region to embark on grassroots sensitization of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hopes Agenda just like the way Matawalle is doing.

“You should go to the grassroots and make your People know the efforts of the Government which is tremendous, more specifically the Renewed Hope Agenda programs which have today completely changed the narrative of Nigeria”.
“We commend Matawalle for his sustainability programs of projecting the Government of Tinubu good works to the people and by the grace of God in 2027 Northerners would en masse re-elect President Tinubu while Zamfara will return Matawalle under APC since the PDP Government has failed woefully”, Kwankwaso added.
