A presidential aspirant under the banner of People’s Redemption Party, Dr Abdulfatah Durojaiye has pledged to introduce free education from primary school up to university level if given the mandate to rule the country come 2023.

He said every Nigerian child must be able to access free education and healthcare because education and healthcare should not be a privilege but a right.
According to him, the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo introduced free education programme which recorded a huge success.
“Iam one of the beneficiaries of free education programme of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo which was implemented effectively,” he said.
He noted that no country could achieve greatness without giving its citizens quality education to enable them contribute their quota towards the development of the country.

He said as part of effort to ensure adequate funding for the education sector, he would reduce the cost of governance.
“If given the chance to rule the country, we will cut expenses. Why should we have 10 Presidential jets at the detriment of education and other sectors of the economy,” he said.
He lamented the current security and other challenges bedeviling the country and called on Nigerians to support him in his effort to bring sanity in the country.
“Nigerians are not happy with what is happening in the country, insecurity is everywhere and poverty has enveloped everywhere while critical infrastructure has completely collapsed.
“We are more divided now as a nation than during the civil war. Nigeria as a nation should to remain as one indivisible entity in order move forward.
“Men of conscience must step forward to save the country from total collapse, hence my decision of stepping forward to offer myself for the office of the President of the country,” Durojaiye said.
