The All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate in Kano, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has been described as the best candidate to be elected Governor of Kano State.
The Chairman of Gawuna Envoy Alhaji Kasim Musa Madigawa stated this during a media briefing in Kano.

Madigawa said following his track records and experience in governance, Gawuna remains the best candidate for Kanawa.
He said Gawuna needs not be reintroduced to the electorates because he had for the past twenty years rendered selfless services to the people of the state, had won several awards within and outside the state

“Dr. Gawuna is versatile in all aspects of governance. He has been a member of the state executive council for many years which allows him acquires experience of leadership,” he said.
Alhaji Madigawa said Gawuna had brought a lot of developments to kano state when he was the commissioner of Agriculture.

“Under him, many projects were executed including includes APPEALS, KSADP and training of farmers on mechanized farming among others,” he said.
He advised the electorate to vote for Gawuna/Garo in the forthcoming elections for more infrastructural development in kano state.
