Katsina state Government has ordered for the immediate closure of all illegal Motor Park in all the 34 local government Areas of the State and the State capital
This is in furtherance with consistent follow-up regarding the implementation of the security challenges (Containment) Order, a statement issued by Abdullahi Aliyu Yar’adua, a director press to the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State.

The resolution, according to the statement, was taken at the Weekly State Executive Council meeting.

The Council further directed all commercial vehicles including luxurious buses to immediately relocate their operations to designated approved Motor Parks.

The Council also approved the compulsory use of Reflective Jackets by all Commercial Motor Cycle Riders across the State. The State Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport has been mandated to issue appropriate Reflective Jacket Sample.
The statement said that the Commissioners for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and Works, Housing and Transport and all Security Agencies have been directed to ensure strict compliance.
