The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has fixed tomorrow Friday, November 19th, 2023, for judgement on the governorship election dispute between Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The judgment will be delivered at 10am in the morning. Further details to follow.
Recall that the Court had on Monday, 6th November, 2023 reserved judgment in the appeal by the Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, challenging his removal by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
The Tribunal on September 20 nullified the election of Yusuf by declaring 165, 663 of his votes were invalid.
