We’ll Reclaim More Seats In Court—Kano APC Chairman

Date:

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, says the party will reclaim mor seats at the tribunal including the seat of of governor.

Reacting to the recent verdict by thee Election Petition Tribunal, Abbas said most of the candidates who claimed to have won the election under the banner of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP in the state rigged the election.

Abbas added that about five members of the House of Representatives of the NNPP including that of Tarauni, Kumbotso and Madobi federal constituencies have cases of forgery hanging on their necks, noting that “Tarauni federal constituency is so far cleared and the remaining will also be sacked soon.”

The chairman also expressed optimism that “we have hope that even the seat of governor will also come back to us at the end. The NNPP rigged the election and some of its candidates have forged certificates and others did not resigned from their jobs within the period stalemated by the laws.

“So, we are confident that at the end of it, more seats would be returned to APC by the court. This is just the beginning. Even the seat of governor will be returned to us at the end of the day. They have violated so many rules and regulations governing the conduct of elections during the polls and as such the seats would be returned to the rightful owners.

“We will do our best to reclaimed our stolen mandates through the legal ways. We have said it in the past and we thank God it has started manifesting. We are confident that the judiciary will at the end of the day unveil the Teri thing the matter.

“We commend the judiciary for standing by the truth and we hope it will maintain the tempo in the spirit of Justice and fairness to all the parties involved,”

The chairman, therefore called on the APC followers in the state to remain calm and law abiding citizens as the party will do everything possible within the ambit of. Laws to reclaimed its mandates.
