Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has said that Nigeria and indeed the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari has lost a rear gem friend who believed in the Government agricultural Policy.
The Vice President made the remark when he paid a condolence visit to Dangote’s families in Kano on Wednesday.

According to him, the deceased was part of the instrumental to the Federal Government general Agricultural policy and in particular Tomatoes Policy’s.
“I in particular I lost a friend who consult me on many of his tomato Programmes, and together we were doing, to the extent that we have achieved what we have achieved today in our National Tomatoes Policy.

Osibanjo said although Federal Government has sent a special delegation under the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika,” I felt as a friend and development partner I should come to condoles with the families”.
Responding, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the elder brother to the late Sani Dangote, expressed deep appreciation to the Federal Government for sending a powerful delegation and to the Vice President for personally paying the condolence visit.
Dangote noted in a sorrowful moods that, “There is nothing one could do in the event of the death of my Brother, that is life and everyone of us will surely one day test the bitterness of the death”.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje commenced the Vice President for coming to condole with the families of Dangote adding that the love and concern shown by the government over the death is a source of happiness and worthy of commendation.
The Vice President was accompanied to Kano by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha and some Senators among others.
