The production of qualitative and affordable to people of Kano state is one of the mandates of the Kano State Drugs Medical Consumable Supply Agency.
This is contained in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the ministry of Health, Hadiza Mustapha Namadi and issued to newsmen in Kano on Monday.
According to the statement, the Director Genera of the Agency, Pharmacist Hisham Imamudeen made the remark during the presentation of certificate to 80 students who underwent mandatory industrial practical training at the Agency.
Pharmacist Imamudeen added that the students conducted their mandatory six months training in quality control.
The DG also stated that the Agency has a quality control unit whereby tests were conducted before the release of drugs.
He advised the students to study and work hard so that their hard work can become success.
Responding on behalf of the students, Shafa’u Khalid Adam from Chemistry Department, Bayero University Kano, thanked the DG of the Agency for his support and kind gesture during their period of training.
