The Kano State government has directed the closure of five health training institutions in the state with immediate effect.

A statement issued by Hadiza Mustacha Natalie, public relations officer of the ministry of health, said the closure was due to the spate of security challenges in the country.

The affected institutions include School of Health Technology Bebeji, School of Nursing Madobi, Schools of Midwifery Gwarzo, Gezawa and Dambatta.

The statement stated that adequate arrangements have been made for the students to continue with their academic activities.
Parents and Guardians are advised to pick their children from their respective schools on Sunday.
