The mother of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, popularly known as Hajiya Dada, is dead.
Hajiya Dada died on Monday evening, at the age of 102, after a protracted illness.

One of her sons, Suleiman Musa-Yar’adua, announced the demise of their mother.

Hajiya Dada left behind many grand and great grand children, among her son that are alive is the serving Senator representing Katsina Central, Sen. Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua.
Her funeral prayer would be conducted on Tuesday by 1:30p.m.
