An overzealous Protocol Officer attached to Kano First Lady, Hafsat Abdullahi Ganduje, one Nuraddeen Sa’id on Thursday threatens the lives of some Journalists as he chased their moving vehicle to a ditch while trying to remove them from the First Lady’s convoy.
The incident happened when the Governor’s wife was traveling to Tudunwada Local government Area of Kano State to participate on an event organized by the House of Representatives, Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa.

The Correspondents’ Chapel was invited to cover the programme and their vehicle was placed infront of the First Lady’s vehicle, as it’s the tradition here to place vehicle conveying Journalists ahead of Governor’s vehicle in the convoy.
As the First Lady’s convoy was moving on high speed along Kano- Zaria Express Way, the Journalists overheard sharp noise of sudden brake from the protocol officer’s Jeep that was chasing their vehicle.

This action devastated the driver of the Journalists who nearly fell into a nearby ditch, with the Protocol Officer shouting on them “get out”.
The Journalists had to parked their bus to allow the heavy convoy passed them on a very high speed, while all of them trying to recover from the shock of their lives under threat.

They later decided to go on low speed far behind the First Lady’s convoy, arriving Tudunwada Local government Area almost late while the programme was almost rounding off.
When the team of Journalists approached the Protocol Officer to enquire why he nearly caused their lives on a very high speed, he turned with a frowned face and still shouted on top of his voice, “so what? You can go to hell.”
