The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Salman Dogo Garba, has pledged to build on the existing cordial relationship between the Command and Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission.
Garba disclosed this when he received the Chairman of the Commission, Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimingado, who led the management team of the agency on a courtesy call.

He reassured the support of the Nigerian Police in ensuring effective service delivery in the areas of fighting corruption and other related issues.
The commissioner also solicited for advice and all the needed support from the Anti – graft agency with a view to achieving the desired objectives.

In his remarks, Barrister Rimingado said they were at the CP’s office to familiarize with each other, and to solicit for more support from the Nigerian Police with a view to achieving its mandate.
“We are here to welcome our new CP, and also assure him of our readiness to work together, and also to solicit for more support towards achieving the set goals”

He noted that the Nigerian Police is a critical stakeholder in providing support to the commission for effective service delivery.
Rimingado prayed for continuous peace and harmony in the state and the nation at large.
