Breaking: thugs set ablaze Senator Barau Jibril campaign office
Armed political thugs have set ablaze the gubernatorial campaign office of Senator Barau Jibril located in Kano.

The angry thugs stormed the lawmaker ‘s campaign office last night and burnt it to assess, Daily Telescope, learnt.
Our reporter also gathered that the angry thugs are suspected to be loyal to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje-led factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , Alhaji Abdullah Abbas.

The thugs were said to have proceeded to the office of the factional chairman of the party loyal to Senator Ibrahim Shekarau-led group with a purpose of setting it ablaze.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa fpr comments proved abortive.

Rivalry between the factional leaderships of the ruling APC in Kano worsen following the recent judgment on the party congresses by an Abuja Federal High Court which favoured Shekarau-les group.
