Despite the ongoing Emirship tussle, the in reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sunusi II on Thursday approved the appointment of Malam Hamisu Sani as new Ward Head of Kofar Mazugal, Dala Local Government area of the state.
The appointment is coming barely one weeks after he was reinstated as the 16th Emir of Kano by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

In his remarks, Sanusi called on the new ward Head to ensure peaceful coexistence among the subjects of the area and contribute his quota towards the development of the state as a whole.

District heads and other prominent personalities such as delegations from religious and market bodies have continued to pay homage to Emir Sanusi at the palace.

The delegation includes, Ansarulddeen Tijjanniya sect and Traders from the popular Kantin Kwari textile market as well as the commodities market popularly known as Singer market among others.
Emir Sanusi II was reinstalled as the Emir of Kano last Thursday after the Kano State House of Assembly and Governor Abba Yusuf repealed and passed the Kano State Emirates Councils (Repeal) Bill 2024 into law.
