The Kano Police Command has arrested 11 students in connection with the killings of their two colleagues at Government Boarding Secondary School Bichi, Kano State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the arrest of the suspected students on Thursday.

He explained that the 11 arrested Students are currently being interrogated to get to the roots of their alleged involvement in the killings of the two boys.
“Eleven students were arrested over the incident and investigation is ongoing to find out the level of their individual involvement,” he said.

He assured that Police would do everything possible to unravel the circumstances behind the killings of the students adding that all those who are party to it would be prosecuted.
Recall that the state Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, had on Wednesday ordered a thorough investigation into the mysterious deaths of the students.
The commissioner, gave the order through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Bashir Bappa Mohammad, after visiting the school.

The deceased students, Hamza Idris Tofawa and Umar Yusuf Dungurawa were allegedly attacked by colleagues using local metal objects known as “Gwale-Gwale.”
