A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kano, Faizu Alfindiki has donated 50 phones and N5 million data bundle to Social Media Influencers to promote President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 polls.
Alfindiki, who was the immediate past Chairman, Kano Municipal Council made the donation on Monday at a colourful ceremony.
He said the influencers, who are spread across Kano State and beyond, have been mandated to promote Tinubu’s presidency and showcase his achievements.
According to him, the influencers were carefully selected based on their reach and influence on social media platforms.
“The social media Influencers have been tasked with promoting Tinubu’s policies and programs, as well as showcasing the achievements of the APC-led administration,” Alfindiki said.
He stressed that in addition to promoting Tinubu’s presidency, the influencers have also been charged to promote the ideals of the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
This move is a strategic effort to strengthen the party’s base and promote its ideology ahead of the 2027 polls,” The politician said.
