The Nigerian Army on Sunday confirmed arrest of 13 suspected members of Boko Haram terrorists in Kano metropolis.
The spokesperson of 3rd Brigade Nigerian Army in Kano, Captain Njoko Irabor confirmed the figures to Daily Telescope in a telephone interview today.
Recall that the arrest of the suspected terrorists was carried out at Filin Lazio in Hotoro area of Kano metropolis on Saturday evening after they raided a mosque and some houses in the area.
Captain Irabor said the operation which would be a continuous exercise, was aimed at checking the influx of people into the state and ensure that security agents were not caught unawares.
“The operation will be a continuous exercise as part of measures to ensure that security agents are not caught unawares,” he assured.
