The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, to tackle the multifaceted challenges bedeviling the country if elected President.
The monarch gave the charge when he received the Presidential candidate who paid him a courtesy call at his palace on Thursday.
“My advice is that as you go round the country for the electioneering campaigns, try to identify the various challenges of each state so that if you are elected President, you can tackle such challenges head on,” the monarch said.
He also charged the PDP Presidential candidate and his entourage to ensure peaceful conduct during their campaigns stressing that peace remains the key to any meaningful development anywhere in the world.
Earlier, Atiku, who spoke in Hausa, told the Emir that he was at the palace to pay his homage and seek royal blessings and prayers for his success in the February 25th Presidential election.
The PDP Presidential candidate who was in Kano for his Presidential Campaign trails, was accompanied to the Emir’s Palace by his Vice Presidential Candidate Okowa and National chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu among others.
