Just in: 6 super tucano fighter jets arrived Nigeria

The first batch of six A-29 Super Tucano has arrived Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) from the United States of America (USA).

Daily Telescope gathered that the fighter jets arrived MAKIA at 12.34pm today.

The Director Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet confirmed this in.a.statement he issued today in Abuja.

Air Commandore Gabkwet said the aircrafts were received at MAKIA by the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), and other service chiefs.

Our reporter gathered that the fighter jets will be conveyed to Abuja from Kano.

Daily Telescope noticed the presence of heavily armed Air Force personnel in Kano today perior to the arrival of aircrafts.

Daily Telescope recalls that last week, the FG announced that the fighter jets would arrived Nigeria soon.
